At Prevex, we follow the guidelines of the GHG (Greenhouse Gas Protocol). In addition, we are committed to the targets set by SBTi (Science Based Target Initiative). This means that we work for a carbon-neutral future in accordance with the Paris Agreement with a goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.
We aim for carbon neutrality by the end of 2023, according to the standards in scope 1 and 2 in the GHG. This encompasses direct and indirect emissions from heat and electricity. In 2022, we had already lowered these operational emissions by 89% compared to 2018. Total carbon neutrality will be reached in 2023 with the help of climate compensation.

We aim for a total carbon emission decrease of 38% by the end of 2025. This involves all three scopes, i.e. also indirect value chain emissions. The main way in which we will reach this target is by switching to recycled plastics in all our water traps. This is done step by step, and the work has already started.
