Introducing plastic-free packaging is an important step towards a more environmentally friendly future, as single-use plastics can spread in nature and oceans. That’s why we now offer customers the option of plastic-free cardboard packaging.

Phasing out single-use plastics

Reducing the use of single-use plastics is an important environmental goal that we take very seriously. Therefore, Prevex now offers plastic-free packaging to customers who request it. We have an advanced cardboard packaging line that offers plastic-free and visually appealing packaging that stand out on the shelfs.

12 tons less single-use plastic

In spring 2025, the first customer switched to plastic-free packaging, reducing our single-use plastic consumption by 12 tons in 2025. Other customers will follow — we have the technical capability to offer cardboard packaging to customers who desire it. We also plan to offer paper packaging in the future.
