For John-John Olson, a summer job turned into a long-term career at Prevex

Over the span of more than 10 years, John-John Olson has held multiple positions at Prevex. After leaving briefly for a role in Stockholm, he decided to return to his former workplace – drawn back by Prevex’s great work community. Now, he works at the company as a customer care manager.

Can you tell us a little about yourself and your career at Prevex?

My career journey here at Prevex began in 2013, when I got a summer job as a machine operator in the production department. Prevex is the largest company in Nykarleby where I am from, and it felt like a natural place to apply for work.

Since then, I have held many positions over the years – from a temp in assembly and a warehouse team leader to a technical product administrator and a product administration supervisor. In 2023, I moved to Stockholm for a different job, but came back to Prevex in 2025. Now, I work as a customer care manager.

What made you return to Prevex?

The amazing co-workers and strong team spirit. I also have a very different position now than when I left, which has been exciting and challenging in a good way.

What does your job involve?

As a customer care manager, I handle customer service and orders. I am in close contact with the clients and my colleagues in different departments – I get to be a “spider in the web”, so to speak.

What is the best part about your job?

My co-workers, for sure. We have a strong sense of unity here. I also really enjoy working with different departments, solving things proactively, and finding solutions to our clients’ issues.

What is it like to work at Prevex? How do you view your future within the company?

I am happy here. Prevex is growing a lot, which means plenty of new opportunities for us employees. Here, you get to try new things and make a difference. I am looking forward to continuing in customer care and further developing our department.
