Could you tell us about yourself and what you do at Prevex? I am Oliver Engström, the Foreman for Prevex’s Product Administration team. My team is responsible for managing product data in Prevex’s ERP system, overseeing everything from component structure to product creation and lifecycle monitoring. It is a job that requires both structure and creativity. What is the best part of your job? Our team and the variety of tasks – in my role, no two days look the same. I get to be involved in many areas, such as development, marketing, production, and sales while interacting with many wonderful people. There are always opportunities to improve and optimize different things, and I enjoy that. Do you ever work remotely? Even though I could technically work from home three days a week, I usually choose to come to the office. Commuting from Vaasa, over 50 kilometers away, is worth it. For me, it is about the people. What is it like to work at Prevex? We have a fantastic team here. Prevex is a good-sized company, big enough to do exciting things, but small enough that everyone knows each other and what their colleagues do in their free time. It is very personal. Whether I am in a Teams meeting with customers, collaborating with product developers, or packing products in production, I value the variety, flexibility, and community at Prevex. Flexible work, great people, and real impact – that is how I would sum it up.
