One of the biggest reasons to the overconsumption is the energy production. Oy Prevex Ab in Nykarleby, consumes energy comparable with the energy consumption of almost 300 electrically heated family houses. To take part in reducing the ecological footprint the company decided today to start using 100% hydro electric power. Hydro power is a renewable source of energy that uses the energy from flowing water. – We´re all responsible for a sustainable development and it feels good to contribute this way, says Marko Nylund, vice president for Prevex in Nykarleby.
