News December 01, 2022 Back to news Prevex relocates assembly from Poland to Finland Prevex has decided to close its assembly unit in Poland and move these operations to Pietarsaari in Finland. Despite the decision to close the assembly unit in Poland, Prevex will still have a sales office and a warehouse in the country.“This is a strategic decision. Since we want to invest in automation, we are relocating all production to our factories in Jakobstad and Nykarleby, which already have a high level of automation”, says CEO Marko Nylund.The relocation to Finland will begin as soon as possible and is expected to be completed within the first quarter of 2023. The closing of the unit in Poland affects 85 employees.
