History

Prevex was founded in 1955, making it one of the oldest working plastic companies in Finland. The company has made drain traps for kitchens and bathrooms since 1971. When the first version of the compact drain trap was launched in the 1990’s, it quickly became a success among sink manufacturers in Nordic countries.

Today most of our production is exported with an increasing volume.

We are continuously refining and improving our products as well as production processes. We have the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates.

Environment

Protecting the environment for future generations is a goal for Prevex and we strive to cut the environmental impact of our production processes. Working to ISO 14001 environmental standards since 2002 and combined with our ISO 9001 quality management standard from 1999, we have made significant environmental savings so far and we continue to look for savings in the future too.

R & D

Prevex has developed injection-molded plastic products for over forty years and we have an end-to-end comprehensive process from product development to final delivery.

Every year we invest significantly in research & development with a focus on innovative, unique solutions and streamlined production processes.

We use advanced three-dimensional CAD technologies, product visualisation and generation programs. This enables us to make prototypes of new designs and ideas which are central to our ongoing development.
